We love that you love our cars, but unfortunately, no—our vehicles are for display and chauffeured experiences only. Think of them as the ultimate VIP guests at your event—there to look stunning, but we don't want them leaving the party.
Not in the traditional sense. We don’t offer full-service transportation like pickup/drop-off between long distances. Our vintage cars are mainly used as styled props—but we do offer short, chauffeured moments for things like ceremony entrances, first looks, or a quick post-event cruise.
Long-distance drives just aren’t ideal for these old beauties—between the lack of A/C, convertible hair chaos, and occasional temperamental quirks, it’s more about the moment than the mileage. We want you to enjoy the vibe, not worry about the ride.
Nope! We bring the vintage vibes, but you'll need to bring your own photographer. That said, we've worked with some incredible talented photographers and would be happy to recommend a few who know how to make our cars (and you!) look amazing. Just ask, and we'll send some names your way!
Nope—and that’s exactly what makes them great! Our cars are regularly driven, well-loved classics that have lived full lives. While they’re beautifully maintained and photograph like a dream, they’re not pristine, museum-kept showpieces. Expect a little character here and there—that’s part of their charm! These cars are here to add authenticity, nostalgia, and a touch of fun to your event, not just to sit behind velvet ropes.
We tailor pricing based on your event, hours & location but our base pricing starts at $550. Please fill out our contact form & after our initial call, we'll send you a custom proposal to get this show on the road!
Our vehicles are covered by insurance, but there are some important things to know:
Chauffeured Experiences: If your booking includes a chauffeur experience, our professional driver will operate the vehicle. While we carry insurance for our cars, Memory Lane is not liable for any injuries, incidents, or damages involving passengers, guests, or third parties. We recommend that you review your event insurance coverage if additional protection is needed.
Event & Guest Responsibility: If you or your guests interact with the vehicle (sit inside, pose for photos, etc.), everyone does so at their own risk. Any damage caused to the vehicle by you or your guests may be subject to additional fees.
If your venue or event requires additional liability insurance, let us know, and we can discuss options.
Absolutely! If your booking includes inside and out access, you and your guests are welcome to pose inside and around the car. Just no snacks, drinks, or spontaneous joyrides—we take great care of these classics, and while they’re well-loved and regularly used, we want to care for these classics.
Yes! We’re totally pet-friendly. Whether it’s a dapper dog, a fashionable feline, or even something a little more exotic, they’re welcome to join your photoshoot. Just keep in mind that additional fees apply depending on the size and type of animal—larger pets or those requiring extra accommodations may need special arrangements. Also, no muddy paws or unexpected “presents” inside the car.
We currently serve the Chicagoland area, but if your event is a little further out, let’s talk! We’re happy to see what’s possible—just know that towing vintage beauties isn’t exactly like Uber.
A little rain or snow? No problem—we’re good to go. But if we’re talking about severe weather conditions like heavy storms, blizzards, or anything that makes transport unsafe, we may need to adjust. If your event is outdoors, we recommend having a backup location or covered area just in case. If the weather is extreme and puts the vehicle (or us) at risk, we’ll work with you to find a solution. Otherwise, we’re ready to roll—rain or shine!
Sooner is always better! Our cars are in high demand, especially for weddings. We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, but if your event is last-minute, reach out—we’ll see if we can work some magic.
If your booking includes repositioning, we’ll have a chauffeur on-site to adjust the vehicle as needed for different photo ops or setups. However, if there’s any risk of damage—such as tight spaces, uneven terrain, or hazardous conditions—we may decide to keep the car in place to ensure it stays in top shape.
Additionally, if the vehicle becomes an obstruction or needs to be moved due to legal requirements (e.g., fire lanes, city ordinances, or venue regulations), we’ll make the necessary adjustments. Our goal is to keep everything smooth, safe, and stylish!
As long as the venue gives the green light, we’re more than happy to roll the car inside! That said, safety is key—if there’s any risk to guests, the vehicle, or the venue itself, we may need to keep it parked outside. But if all checks out, we’re all in!
